Inaugural Summer: CS Discoveries Training in Phoenix, AZ!

CS Discoveries is a brand new CS program for students in grades 6-9. Code.org is known for introducing the Hour of Code movement and now has curriculum available to teachers at no cost. Code.org is investing in education and teachers like me!

CS Discoveries was piloted last year and piloting teachers facilitated the training. First trimester has been piloted and revised and second semester is currently being revised based on pilot teacher feed back. This is the ground floor of a movement to get quality, vetted, and engaging introductory computer science curriculum into schools. I so glad to be apart of the compute science community!
