Give Your Preschooler a Jump Start that Lasts!

My children weren't the first at talking but the skills I gave them made them early and successful readers. They have been at the top of their class because of skills they received early as 3 and 4 year olds. Any parent or caregiver can give this jump start. It's easy and creates memories. Studies show that being a successful reader helps a child be successful in all subjects. The pay off is incredible.

"E"gg hunt on letter "Ee" day

I taught my Alphabetology program locally for a few years in the Poway and Escondido areas before heading back to teach full time as a science teacher. Alphabetology is SO easy. You choose a letter to focus on do activities. For "D," we had a "D"onut "D"ate and took some to "D"ad. We took our letter "Dd" card with us and focused on the sound "Dd" makes. We found the letter D and d on our adventure. Simple, easy, fun and what dad doesn't like a surprise.

For "Ee," we made "E"ggs for breakfast, decorated "E"nvelopes and took the "E"scalator at the mall with our letter"Ee" card.

Each letter comes with a two page spread of ideas. Choose ideas that fit into your day. You don't have to do it every day. We did letter days a couple of times a week. It is a grab and go program that is fun and easy. I love the memories we made. Each letter also has a hand movement called the Kinesthetic Connection. This helps include all of the learning styles and senses.
