While watching the morning news and eating my breakfast, I saw the Innovate 8 STEM learning contest on San Diego's channel 8. I had my students create videos and encouraged them to enter. San Diego's Channel 8 reporter Carlo Cechetto came to our school to award two of our students Innovate 8 awards in May 2015. Adam D. was the overall winner and Cole P. was a ruuner up. (Both were my students, Cole is also my son.)
These two are on the Channel 8 public service announcement for STEM learning multiple times a day on our local San Diego station. They are at the end saying, "STEM is our future."
